Watchdog Assessments

What assessment services does Watchdog provide?
Watchdog provides Psycho-educational assessment services.

What is a Psycho-educational Assessment?
A Psycho-educational Assessment is performed by a clinical psychologist using different testing systems designed to determine whether or not a child has a developmental delay and/or other disorder. Typically, this involves administering both psychological (e.g., intelligence) tests and educational tests (e.g., a reading or math test).

What is the fee for a Psycho-educational Assessment?
The fee is HK $6,000 per assessment. The assessment will take approximately 1.5 hours on the day of the appointment. A full written report will be completed and then shared with parents in a scheduled 1 hour parent consultation session.

How do we schedule a Psycho-educational assessment?
You can call Watchdog to make an appointment with our clinical psychologist or you can ask to speak with someone regarding assessments if you require additional information.
Watchdog also performs assessments on children who are preparing to move into mainstream classrooms to assess a child’s developmental levels against their peer group.
